This site is nowhere near completion. It is, however, being developed in such a way that it will be useful while it develops.
On this page:Hello, and welcome to the machine. I am Claus S., your host and machine operator. Just like S. Claus, I live close to the North Pole, and, well, I'm making a list. And that's where the similarity stops.
This is probably the most complicated site I've ever made. I'm not at all sure that it will ever become what I envision. And, I'm not really a programmer either, so I have to discover "best practice" along the way. But, I am working on it.
It's all about search. Search engines, search blogs, search forums, search news, and then some.
I've been working on it since October 10, 2005, and sofar it seems like every month brings progress. Good. Not bragging, but still, it seems like it's pretty useful already, wouldn't you say? Well, there's a very long path ahead.
Now, I could write volumes here, but in stead I will say this: You will have to get the RSS feed if you want to know more.
Information and thoughts about the site are being posted there in a blog-like fashion. Except that there isn't a blog yet. But nevermind, it's a "full feed" and it's available for just about every newsreader (Thanks, Feedburner)
This site is an offspring of the miniature media directory Media Linker launched in November 2004.
That one is a very small site with only a few pages, yet listing hundreds of news sources. The nice people at MediaLinker (myself, said the dog) was kind enough to lend us some space, cut us some slack, and generally let us (me, said the other dog) fuck up their site royally. For a limited period of time of course.
We don't really believe in spam ..eh, email around here, so there's none of those fancy newsletters.
Yet. So, while waiting for that unique opportunity you may subscribe to the RSS feed. It's free.
